Pottery Kiln Firning Service

Professional pottery kiln firing service in Pakenham. Bisque and glaze firing available at cone 04–08. Drop off your pieces for expert firing with fast 2–5 day turnaround. $10 per kg.

How it works

Drop off your cleaned pottery pieces ready for firing. We recommend no more than 3–4 glaze layers to protect your work and our kiln. We use a Skutt 818 Electric kiln with digital monitoring for precise, reliable results.

Please email us mypinkpottery@gmail.com if you would like to have your items fired. once fired we weigh them to give you the price point (it is $10 per KG) and we do this as when items are dry they weigh less saving you money.

Once we weigh it you will receive an invoice (through our website) which is payable prior to collection.

Your responsibility

You will need to make sure the clay and glaze on your items is appropriately matched and that we know what cone you wish to fire too. 

Clean the bottom of your items well so no glaze will stick to the shelves.

Let us know the clay you are using to make sure the cone firing is right for the clay.

You will need to drop off and collect (after hours can be organised if need be).
